Butterfly Food

This morning on my run I found a butterfly for Jack.  As soon as I brought it in he insisted on going on a walk to the park to get "butterfly food."  He decided his butterfly will eat fresh apples off the tree, 'cherries'  and dandelions.

I used up all my good behavior!

"I can't be good.  I keep trying but I am all out of good behavior!  I used it all up!"

College Kitty Food

"Mommy,  Bogey (the cat) sure is going to miss me when I go to college!  But I will visit him and bring him college kitty food!"

Jack with a /j/, /j/, J!

Being the friendly, out-going, and not shy little boy that he is, Jack makes friends anywhere we go with anyone that will look his direction!  Well, about 90% of the time that people ask him what his name is, when they hear his reply, they end up calling him Zack.  This is very frustrating for him.  He finally solved the problem...he has taken a huge interest in beginning sounds lately and now he introduces himself by saying, "My name is Jack with a /j/, /j/, J!

A Cross for Jesus

Jack spent a long time this evening working on "a project." With construction paper, scissors, labeling dots and lots and lots of glue, he made a cross. He is so proud of his cross! "It is for Jesus! I am going to give it to him when we get to Heaven. He will say 'Nice cross.' Jesus will share it with God." I am so proud of him. Although, he did take a break from his cross to use his scissors to give the cat a trim!
