I Am Proud Of You!

Tonight was Jack's Fall parent-teacher conference.  His teachers had all very positive things to say about him!  When Ry and I got home the babysitter had already put Jack down for the night.  Yet, when I walked in and kissed him, he smiled and reached out for a hug.  I told him that we had met with Miss Amy and Miss Jackie and that I am so proud of him.  I told him how proud I am of him for being such a good friend.  Trying hard to open his eyes, he looked up at me and said, "I am proud of you Mommy.  I am proud of you for being such a good teacher."

I Was Just Going To Do That!

This is a conversation Jack and I had on Skype after he had been in Florida for a few days.

Me:  Have you been remembering to say your prayers?

Jack:  Oh, I was just about to do that, but then you called and I needed to talk to you instead.

Me:  Okay...but remember you can pray anytime.

Jack:  Dear Jesus,  Thank you for my mommy and her blessings.  I pray for her heart.  In your name, Amen.

Thank you God for the amazing blessing that Sweet Jack is to me!
